About A.Vogel supplement company

As a young man, founder Fred Pestalozzi († August 4, 2014) had Meniere s syndrome – episodes of vertigo and tinnitus. But then, quite by chance, he came across a concentrated preparation of herbal yeast by the German chemist, Prof. Walter Strathmeyer, M.D. in Chemistry. A few months later, Pestalozzi was cured and ready to work. He was delighted by this personal success and by the many positive comments about the experience of friends and relatives. Dr. Stratmeyer gave him the recipe and a license so that he could produce a natural nutritional supplement based on vegetable yeast himself. So in 1961, Fred Pestalozzi founded Bio-Strath AG in a two-room apartment on Langstrasse in Zurich. In 1964, the company moved to Herrliberg on Lake Zurich. The company was expanded to its current size in three construction phases.
